Yes, I’m collecting mounts. I’m 22 away from my flying…feathery…thing? Whatever it is. Or something. Most of them are easily doable if I do some pvp, continue doing tournament-dailies and get more gold. However, I’d quite like to NOT have to buy 20k gold ugly mammoths. Really.

I mean, let’s be realistic here: I have 7k gold. On my entire account. Spread over several servers. I’m not rich.

And really, if you have a boyfriend who also plays, aren’t you dutybound to make him help you?

And yes, my boyfriend plays Forsaken. No, I’m not very excited about this fact. The guy doesn’t even have a jaw! (I took some artistic liberties, okay? I refuse to draw him jawless. That’s just, ew. Ewwww.)

(In case you’re wondering: we did have this conversation. Mits may or may not have manhandled me during it. Keyword: MANhandled. GIANT FREAKY HANDS, okay?)

The Nearly Perfect Plan

Nagrand always did seem like a nice place to work on your tan...

Every once in a while, I get it into my head that I should PVP more. I have this dream that I’ll suddenly have gotten good at this, and will not run around like a headless chicken, dying to everything that looks at me.

Mitsune takes these odd impulses in stride, and usually exploits the situation to get some arena done. We always say that THIS, this is the season we’ll REALLY get into it. We’re gonna go to the top, we’ll become awesome, and we’ll not run with some weird setup that neither of us quite know how to play properly.

A few weeks later we’re hanging around in the lower brackets on our priest-mookie-team, failing horribly at killing half the team we meet, and our (mine) enthusiasm start to wither away. A month or two later I’ll be mysteriously busy every time Mitsune has the time to play, and thus our current bout of arena-playing slowly fades away.

But dang, it does pay for a lot of my raiding gems!
