Howdy y’all! Back in the saddle, yee-haw! Well – sort of. As Ayms is sure to be tellin’ you up there in the big chair, we ain’t about to commit to no fancy-schmancy “schedule” again just yet. It don’t matter none. Compared to our little nap, we’re fit as pair of fiddles at a barn dance!
Well, as for Mits in the strip, y’can draw your conclusions, yeah? What I will say is this: anything that gets me writing is right proper okay in my book. Acourse there’s more to it’n that, but I ain’t about to preach. If you’re in the know and find yourself over in the right places – such as EqD – it might be that the name Cloudy Skies isn’t unfamiliar to me. Just, well. With all due respect, don’t come crying ‘ter me if it ain’t your speed, is all.
I’m not gonna bore you with much more talk, but I just made something wonderful and awesome sound like a dreary and terrible thing, and that just ain’t right.
Fact is, I feel I’ve learned more ’bout writing in the past four months than I have in all the years that came ‘afore. I’ve met some wonderful people, and I like to think I’ve changed for the better as a person. I’m bloody happy, and I am rearing to write again. Rather, let’s make that “again and still”. Writing’s been all I’ve been doing lately, and now? Season 2 of 4th Wall is here!
And no, I’ve no idea why I wrote that in a horribly mangled not-quite-Southern accent.
Well okay, maybe I do.
In other news: The new house-place-area is awesome, and Delta is the cutest dog ever. She continues to try to get me past my hygiene-related OCDs by washing my face every now and then. Yay dog spittle! Thank you, Delta.
Mits’ thoughtful ‘huh’ face in the second panel is a gem
I have a great mental image of the number of kids steadily increasing until you’re buried underneath a pile of them, muffled pleas for rescue going unnoticed while Mits drinks soda and pulls the ‘huh’ face.
I love how there is another kid hiding behind Mits.
Not until now did I notice that one. Holy crap.
Kids should neither be seen or had.
Good thing your parents didn’t think that, EH?
Yeah, I hate kids too. Too much time, money and work. There are other things I’d rather put all that effort into. Something that doesn’t take 18+ years to become “cool” (and even then, could still be annoying as all hell).
awww, I love kids… after the age of 6 or so… ^_^ before 6… I hate them… but after 6 they’re so cool!
Yeah, puppies and kittens are so much better.
*laughs* Yet another reason I need to move to Norway – to save Aymee from small children.
I’m surprised no one mentioned the great sport of kid shoving yet.
/shove
Awww, thanks. Now I feel un-loved! Anyway, if I was older, I know I would find myself incredibly annoying and probably hate myself. Because I just don’t really like people smaller than me that beg for attention (3 younger brothers may have contributed to it). Oh, and Texaswarrior? That shove hurt.
Aww, sorry!
I guess asking you to babysit Mini-Runz and Mini-Runz 2 would be a no no then? We’ve already gone through all the available babysitters in my country, I’m thinking maybe I could sell them to the military’s R&D department.
Hmmmm, weaponised children!
i love this webcomic, it really brightened my day for the longest time. i miss having new ones every so often.
We can haz new comics now k thx?
Much more better, can we has mention as to why there’s been no update?
…You’re not a corpse, are you?
