Blizzard isn’t evil, they just kinda take your soul in exchange for playing their games.

I dread to think what you actually find evil, if this doesn’t constitute..

I’m gonna end up trying to find these things, aren’t I?

There are so many other things I could waste my time on! So many lost dreams…

Oh noes, were you really thinking of quitting? How sad!

Eh, I quit raiding…hum. Three or four months ago, actually, and the game isn’t very interesting to me as a non-raider. I don’t play much anymore, mostly because of this. Instead I work two jobs and draw some webcomics, so there’s not really much time left after that. ;)

Sounds like my relationship with EVE Online.

“Gah, this is boring. I’m going to quit for a while”.
    *two months pass*
    “Oh, a new feature… that’s kind of cool… 15$ isn’t THAT much money…”

That very last line is why my steam games list is longer than the memoirs of zombie Jesus.

I’m starting to wonder if you like drawing angry characters more. You put a lot of nice detail into the angry faces. Maybe we ARE just more detailed when angry.

It’s probably cause it was an Aymee solo panel – she does so dote upon herself, and leave me in the dust/dark/low-detail. *Le theatrical sigh!*

Naw really though, you may be on to something here.

To be fair, it’s a mix of a lot of things: more often than not when I zoom in, it’s on angry faces. The more you zoom in, the more details I tend to put in there. In addition, Aymee and Mits never really go to the extreme-kind of happy, they’re mostly smirking, or smiling slightly, etc, while they both jump straight over angry to rage – meaning it’s a more extreme emotion giving you more lines on your face.

Also, I have limited time when it comes to drawing so I tend to focus on the emotions that are important to the punchline :)

I managed to leave for about 2 months, happily frolicking in Rift. But I just renewed my subscription last night.
It’s a sick addiction. And this has inspired me to go work on my Archeology.

I learned how to quit easily enough, 1: don’t care, 2: have (several) something’s that still interest you.

specifically regarding archaeology, once I got it maxed I put it on the ‘I’m not farming any more until they do something to improve the RNG factor’ table, its a wide table just for the label ^_^

having free games helps too such as Vindictus (think a cross between Diablo 2 and Zelda). also am pining over Guildwars 2 /drool

I used to have wow achievements on my stuff to do when bored list but I basically have all the practical ones to get, the rest bore me more then before I attempted it.
