Howdy y’all! Back in the saddle, yee-haw! Well – sort of. As Ayms is sure to be tellin’ you up there in the big chair, we ain’t about to commit to no fancy-schmancy “schedule” again just yet. It don’t matter none. Compared to our little nap, we’re fit as pair of fiddles at a barn dance!
Well, as for Mits in the strip, y’can draw your conclusions, yeah? What I will say is this: anything that gets me writing is right proper okay in my book. Acourse there’s more to it’n that, but I ain’t about to preach. If you’re in the know and find yourself over in the right places – such as EqD – it might be that the name Cloudy Skies isn’t unfamiliar to me. Just, well. With all due respect, don’t come crying ‘ter me if it ain’t your speed, is all.
I’m not gonna bore you with much more talk, but I just made something wonderful and awesome sound like a dreary and terrible thing, and that just ain’t right.
Fact is, I feel I’ve learned more ’bout writing in the past four months than I have in all the years that came ‘afore. I’ve met some wonderful people, and I like to think I’ve changed for the better as a person. I’m bloody happy, and I am rearing to write again. Rather, let’s make that “again and still”. Writing’s been all I’ve been doing lately, and now? Season 2 of 4th Wall is here!
And no, I’ve no idea why I wrote that in a horribly mangled not-quite-Southern accent.
Well okay, maybe I do.
In other news: The new house-place-area is awesome, and Delta is the cutest dog ever. She continues to try to get me past my hygiene-related OCDs by washing my face every now and then. Yay dog spittle! Thank you, Delta.
Evil bastard, my brother. Love him though. I do have to admit, I love that gleeful look he’s got in the last panel. XD
(and as I said on Twitter… I think you’ve got the speech bubbles in the first panel pointing to the wrong mouths…)
Pure, unbridled glee that can only be the result of inflicting sweet sweet torment with a few well-chosen words.
I understand she hired you to proof-read in my place for when I’m away? You do realize that if we work together, our love can never be?
For Mits to still be alive and living with you I’m going to guess he can run really fast
He’s like the Road Runner from the Wile E Coyote cartoons.
I figured he’d have to. Hell hath no fury like an angry woman
Which Aymee has show very well with the ax in the 4th panel.
I grew up on a kennel, in a forest, far from people. We had a lot of moose, a lot of snow and a lot of firewood to chop. I am quite proficient with said ax.
I also own two.
(Yes, true story.)
In Japan, females traditionally carry mallets or mauls. Well, in the Japan where the average person has eyes the size of teacups and no actual nose (or tummy).
In Norway, it’s apparently all about axes. Axen. Axii?
And here I didn’t think you could get any cooler Aymee
America seems so boring when compared to Europe :\
Pretty sure it’s just axes. But yeah, axes are more threating and awesome than any other weapon. They take a lot of strength to wield well. I have enough leverage to wield one, but I can’t make it hit what I’m aiming at. Maybe if I put a laser sight on it…
And you still do a comic? Better than me you areā¦.
I only work the supertimeconsuming job til the end of may. After that it’ll be better.
I hope.
I’ve told you before. Grinding doesn’t work in real life. You wont level up any faster.
Well, I might not level up any faster, but there are achievements to unlock!
Like, for example, getting a Cintiq!
OMG that face is the bestest evar! much respect for teh awesome :3
Hehehe, thank you!
Great comic!
Loveing panel 4. great art all round.
thanks for the comic. dont work too hard
